Kyle Ernstzen
Founder, business manager, & cryptocurrency advisor.
Kyle brings over a decade of business management experience to the firm’s Cape Town legal team, supporting litigation strategy and complex financial matters. His background spans microfinance, transportation, and security, with a strong focus on regulatory and risk-driven environments.
He has worked alongside counsel on high-profile matters, including the MTI Ponzi scheme, one of the largest financial fraud cases in Africa, and has developed expertise in cryptocurrency and financial market regulation since 2016.
Dominique Dirks
Director, Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
She has extensive experience in general litigation, with a focus on evictions, family law, debt recovery, contractual disputes, banking litigation, foreclosures, and local government matters.
She has also lectured credit management students at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology on the National Credit Act and Consumer Protection Act. Known for her sharp negotiation skills, meticulous approach, and effective litigation strategy, she combines technical precision with professionalism and compassion.
Narriman Higgins
Associate Designate
Narriman holds an LLB with 23 distinctions and was placed on the Dean’s List. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Estate and Financial Planning and manages the administration of deceased estates at Dirks Ernstzen Attorneys.
As a Certificated Associate of the Institute of Bankers (C.A.I.B.), she brings strong expertise in banking and labour law, regularly handling mediation and CCMA matters within the financial services sector. Her background in business management and estate planning adds a well-rounded, practical perspective to her legal work.
Malisa
Legal Secretary
Malisa plays a key role in ensuring a seamless client experience at Dirks Ernstzen Attorneys. A certified Paralegal and current LLB student at the University of South Africa, she combines legal knowledge with strong organizational skills to manage front-desk operations, client communication, and legal documentation.
Her work supports the attorneys and strengthens the firm’s relationships with clients through professionalism, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence.
Eldané Steenberg
Candidate Attorney
Eldané Steenberg is a legal professional who completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with distinction at Varsity College. She has a strong academic foundation and developed key skills in legal research, analysis, and writing.
During her studies, she gained practical experience at the Varsity College Law Clinic, where she assisted with legal research, document preparation, and client consultations. Eldané is known for her professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering high-quality legal support. Her guiding motto is: “The time is always right to do what is right.”
